Jim Pantelas is a 20-year lung cancer survivor (NSCLC, stage 3B with treatments that included surgery, chemo and radiation). He is a long-standing patient and research advocate with significant involvement in the veteran population. Jim has been involved with the NLCRT since 2019, and is a longstanding member of the Stigma and Nihilism subcommittee. He is currently working with Lung Cancer Foundation of America (LCFA) to recruit, train, and support a Veteran’s Speaker’s Bureau, and is actively involved in numerous research and oversite roles in support of the Veteran’s Administration Healthcare System.
