Building Equitable Lung Cancer Control and Care for All
This webinar follows up on the initial annual meeting conversation from Session 5 on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. The 2021 NLCRT Annual Meeting was themed Disparities to Equity: Moving the Needle on Lung Cancer.
The conference featured the work of organizations and individuals that are shaping a more equitable direction to lung cancer care and control. The goal of the meeting was to address the determinants of cancer-related health disparities and advance health equity across the lung cancer continuum.
The December 7th keynote session was a presentation and conversation led by Robert A. Winn, MD, Director of the Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University, with short talks from Manali Patel, MS, MPH, MS, Stanford University; Marshall Chin, MD, MPH, FACP, University of Chicago; Nicole Richie, PhD, Genentech, and patient advocate Brandi Bryant, Team Draft.
This February 16 follow-up webinar featured five very brief summary presentations that set the stage for a general discussion that included questions from the webinar audience.
