Opportunities For Intervention/Influence:

  • Collaborate with and engage national primary care specialty societies and their state primary care chapters
  • Promote peer-reviewed journal publications, reviews, presentations at professional society meetings
  • Adapt NCCRT tools and resources to lung cancer screening and smoking cessation, and infrastructure engagement (i.e., the role of hospital systems, health plans, etc.)
  • Create CME materials
  • Create a billing and reimbursement toolkit (CMS, Medicaid, Private insurance)
