Opportunities For Intervention/Influence:
- Collaborate and engage with national/state primary care and medical specialty societies
- Develop and promote peer-reviewed journal publications, narrative reviews, and presentations at national/state professional society meetings
- Adapt NCCRT tools and resources to lung cancer screening and smoking cessation, and infrastructure engagement (i.e., the role of hospital systems, health plans, etc.)
- Create CME materials for primary care physicians and specialists
- Create a billing and reimbursement toolkit (CMS, Medicaid, private insurance) for lung cancer screening and shared decision-making
